    Dance related TV programmes

A thread for posting stuff that you've seen are upcoming on TV that people might like to catch...

Apparently Channel Four's "Super size vs. Super skinny" tonight will include:

For this week's Extra Helpings Gillian finds out if a bunch of jive dancers know their calories as well as their moves as she offers them a variety of romantic dinners for two. Can they tell which dishes they can dine out on without building up their love handles?
I think that the programme is appalling btw (people swapping one unhealthy diet regime where they over or under eat for the opposite) but it does make bizarrely interesting "thank God that's not me" watching. And for McKeith haters it's another excuse to vilify her!

    Grrrr.

If she ever turned up at a dance venue I was at, they'd get no filming done that day. I'd be ranting and raving in the background about:
    • her highly dubious 'qualifications'
    • her highly dubious web-site
    • her censuring by the authorities for advertising a 'herbal viagra' without any evidence in support of her claims
    • her barking mad espousal of rare, hard-to-find, expensive-to-buy substances which are, mysteriously, completely indispensable to a healthy diet despite the fact that before 1990 only about 11 people had ever eaten any
    • the fact that all reputable, properly-educated and trained medical persons are unanimous that you cannot tell anything useful about a person's long-term health by tasting their poo

and if none of the above worked I'd just scream at her about how ugly she is.

...or maybe I'll ask her for a job.
