    Your best local night...

Am on the road the start of July and I have the opportunity of sorting my own schedule... So here is my Q.

From London-ish to Nottingham or Manchester area anywhere kinda middle Englandshire- where are the unmissable nights??

I'll be soring this out in next couple of days so quick responses/recommendations all appreciated..

Cool Re: Your best local night...

My advice would be to check out the what's on list and see who is DJing. That is the main motivator for me. If the music is right pretty much everything else can be forgiven in a night, but if the music is pants it doesn't matter that there's a naked mud wrestling cabaret, it ain't going to save the night (well maybe a little)

For example if we dance tonight it will be in Marc's venue - even though it's 75 miles each way.

Tuesdays at Bowdon are really good at the moment.

True, although far too crowded for such a small room. Better dancers tend to go there.

Stockport on Wednesday is usually alright.

If its not too west for you CJ...Ceroc Live @ Chippenham (Wilts) on a Thurs night is worth a look, as is Stockport Blitz- I had a fabulous night there on Weds while on an engineering call at Wythenshawe.

Derby Ceroc takes some beating as well! In fact, I've just done a tally, and realised I have danced at over 20 different regular dance nights , if you don't include my 6 local venues (well, within a 40 mile radius of Warminster anyhoo!).

    Addicted, moi?

Where's Marc DJing tonight, then? (I know he's at Rugby tomorrow.)
