I'm not sure what's subtle about it (maybe that bit was too subtle for me), but I did have a giggle.
Very funny.

It did bring a smile to my face, as would any comedy sketch which "fights back" on behalf of a group of people who have been targeted in the past.
It did bring to mind a conversation I had recently with a well known developer, who has been helping the Catholic church sell a LOT of it's land consistantly over recent times.
Aparently every time there is a conviction of someone in a position of authority in the church (and sometimes when there is just an allegation), those who have been the subject of attention of the person of authority get a hugh pay out on the quiet.
This may be abused by some, who say "me too" I was a victim.
It could also be being abused in that people are saying "this person needs to be convicted".
Thing is, a huge amount is flowing out of the coffers, according to my developer friend.
I am told the Catholic church has a huge amount of land, but do you think eventually they will run out of land/cash, if the payouts continue?
It wouldn't surprise me if the catholic church is the wealthiest organisation on the planet.
Cambridge Colleges have been amassing wealth for six hundred years, or so; in the 60s it was said you could walk from Cambridge to the Wash without stepping off land owned by Trinity College. Their wine cellars are rumoured to be second to none worldwide.
The catholic church has been at it for three times as long as those colleges, and over an immeasurably larger area and supported by a far larger number of people. I bet its assets run into the £trillions.
It is all rather scary, I have just looked up a few web sites, and the Catholic church owns huge chunks of Australia.
I fail to see how that promotes thier religion, but I guess it promotes the ongoing of thier organisation.
On top of all that they do not pay rates, water, land tax, wage tax, purchase tax etc. - all of which us normal folk have to pay...
