I voted for 'all weekend focus whatsit weekend at Kirriemuir'. This is a lie. I'm only going for the Saturday night party, but there was no option for that. So there.

Gloucester is well worth a visit, John Baker is a top man and a great DJ.

It a very friendly venue with lots of good dancers

Can't see this one in the poll:

Fri - Vibe - Ealing Town Hall

They're doing a jive top 20 of all times, always subject to much divided opinion no doubt But will be interesting to see what they chose, especially as number 1!

That'll be my only post SP dancing this weekend sadly, would have loved to do Berko on Saturday but got talked into cooking another lush dins for friends instead

I may ditch a meal I had planned for Saturday in favour of either Putney or Berko???

I suppose Putney is closer. Really enjoyed it last time I went.

Went to the Gloucester WCS workshop with Simon Bowker teaching, on Sunday -

Brilliant teaching, luscious cakes and air conditioning - what more could you ask for?

Sorry for the late reply Bluey. The event was a one off evening event organised by my ballroom teacher. It was in the Saxon suite, Daventry Leisure Centre. Evening started at 7pm with "social dancing" - ok, loads of (mainly) kids practicing their ballroom dances while their parents looked on! Then caberet by Darren and Lilia at 8pm which lasted ~30 minutes. They did 5 or 6 dances with costume changes inbetween each. Lilia's outfits were fab and so was the dancing. Afterwards they signed autographs for ~ 30 minutes and then the eveining was over. They didn't socialise or dance with anyone. I wouldn't have wanted to pay £20 for a ticket though but I was there thanks to a freebie.

Rugby afterwards was great - best freestyle I've been to in as long as I can remember!
