How far do you travel for a night out dancing?

I am sure that a lot of people travel some miles to get a good dance fix. Does the end then justify the means journey wise?

If you can get a good dance fix locally, no need to travel, otherwise, travel comes into it.

If you live in the UK, well 20,000 miles might be needed

It does for me. I travel between13 and 16 miles to get to my regular venues in Cardiff. I also regularly travel around 40 miles to freestyles in Bristol, and occasionally have been known to travel up to 90 miles to other venues. I suppose that adds up to a lot of miles in a year, but there are many people who travel a lot further.

It's definitely worth it for me.

I have a simple rule, total dance time must exceed total travel time
I think its going to take me about 36 hours to get to the Gold coast
So I will need about 3 months there to just justify the trip
How far is your venue from Byron Bay

good thinking - should take you less than 24 hours flying time, but I guess it depends how far you are from an airport for total travel time.

Emma runs a good class on the Gold Coast, she was at the recent Ceroc Scotland weekender and did a caberet with Clinton.

If you really want to make the trip worthwhile, come over in September, when the dance camp, the champs and a week of general partying and dancing is going on at the Gold Coast

Many a time, mad things happen from an initial crazy idea or something said in jest!

1 hour 9 minutes by car, according to my Tom Tom

They do dance in Byron Bay, it does not look like Ceroc though - more like the "hippy hippy shake"
