    I quite agree that the absence of mould on cheddar is important - that was - er - somewhat the point of the analogy...

    I think you will find if you visit the cheese factory at chedder then the mould is very important unless the outer layer of the cheese has been left to go mouldy it wouldnt mature at all
    The mould on the outside dies and gets brushed off they then know its mature enough for selling

    I still hate football though

    So if the cheddar comes to you on the cheese plate with mould all over it, you'll happily much into it? It could well be toxic.

    Mould on stilton, though, is different.

    It is however important in the production of chedder

    Would the dress maybe fit Rooney? Less hassle all round if he wears it instead - and the photos would be worth so much more.
