    Buy up 20 girl tickets,,,,

Sell them close to the event, at a profit, when all the last minute girls want to go?

    just a thought...
One practical problem is that you'd need to come up with 20 girl's names and phone numbers. It would probably look bad if the same names appeared on more than one booking form...

Oh, then Jive Addiction's Ts&Cs would come in to play...
iii] Transfers: Transference of a booking/place from one person to another without the express permission of Jive Addiction is strictly prohibited as it is a legal requirement to have everyone’s name who is at the venue.Transference of a booking from one Jive Addiction event to another is not permissible.
iv] Gender balancing: [...] If it is discovered that a false booking has been made then that person [or persons] will be refused entry to the event and no refund will be given.
Basically, you'd have to tell Jive Addiction about each sale, and if they realise what's going on, they're likely to void all your tickets.

No , not really, you give fake names and fake numbers, they will not phone them anyway.... once you sell the ticket, you tell them what name to use...

    Simple really.

Unless of course you think JA is going to phone 1500 people just to check

(don't worry Wes, this is just hypothetical and nothing to do with one weekender specfically )

That's only the JA weekenders - the Ceroc ones you don't give any names other than the lead name. You just book a chalet for a certain number of males/females - you can't change the gender as they need to collect wristbands (and give names at that point) but you could sell on tickets fairly easily. That would only work though if the weekend is sold out.

If you want a really good laugh then try asking JA which statute this "law" is from Secondary HSE diktats (which are not law) are frequenty used by organisations as an excuse for restrictive practices, but in JA's case I suspect it is a "law" passed on to them by the venue.

JA don't want you to resell tickets, but as people have now worked out there is nothing illegal about doing so. It may well be against the T&C, you may well run the risk of having your tickets cancelled, but illegal it is not

If Pontin's say they need to know the name of every person on-site, and make this part of their contract with JA, then JA has a legal requirement to have everyone's name.

The law will be the law of contracts.

It may be a contractual requirement, but it is not a legal requirement Laws are made by parliament, not by people writing contracts.

Whoa, that's a fine distinction there, Keefy!
