    Blood and Guts

    Phwrr what a match eh.

I was on the edge of my seat right through the match, the extra time and the 11 penalties.

And I wasn't even bothered which team won.

It was raining like mad toward the end.

    Scholes got his nose broken

Drogba got red carded for slapping Vidic.

Terry was crying like a baby because he missed his penalty, as did Ronaldo

Supporters of Man U and Chelsea must be nervous wrecks.

Russians were holding fans in holding pens in Moscow pre. match.

Here in London, 5 police were injured and 12 civilians arrested, due to violence when Chelsea lost.

Good job it was not held on a Thursday, as Stamford bridge, Chelsea's home ground is just a stone's through from the Fulham venue.

    Man of the Match? Anybody?

I only heard about it the match since i missed it!!

Im still a happy Gunners supporter and really hope they do better next season!!!

A few of my mates are still gloating about Man U's victory!!

Theres no need for violence on the grounds and with supporters going crazy if their team loses.......there's always next season!!

But there was loads of injury time. They were dropping like nine pins.

I was very interested to watch what the physiotherapists were doing, especially in extra time.

They were pushing down on the footballers' foot on a leg stuck in the air, while the player laid on his back.

    Was this for thigh strain?

My physio did that on my legs.

I had to laugh after the match last night- the commentator said " There won't be anyone celebrating in London tonight! "

Who is he trying to kid- Thats where most of the Man Utd fans are from.

Yes my son told me when he got back that he wasn't aware of any trouble between the English fans, but the Russian supporters had a bit of an outburst between themselves. The fans he met were exchanging jerseys and not out for bother.

Overall in Moscow there was not a lot of trouble and the Russian people were really good with the fans. He didn't have much of a voice this morning when he phoned me, but had a great time. I watched it with a friend and was on the edge of my seat during the penalties, which I hate because it so nerve racking, and after the players have played their hearts out.
Commiserations to Chelsea, but well done the reds.

When Drogba was carded it looked as if the Man U and Chelsea players were going to have a scrummage on the pitch. I really thought they were all going to kick off.

Wow, so your son watched the match live in Moscow.
    Glad he is back safely.
