Cool Mariachi in OAKHAM this Saturday..

Ermm following my boo boo about the location of this event I thought I should correct it where it's a little more visible in case anyone goes to the wrong place by mistake.

Ohhh and of course I want to know who else is coming to dance with us all.

So, it's Saturday at Oakham... Mariachi.. it'll be an excellent Southport warm up.

Go on, you know you want to..................

..want to? Too right Stokie. Had tickets reserved for this for weeks and even sent CJ a raft of suggested tracks. I gather it gets a bit hot at the Oakham venue so we'll bring plenty of shirts.

I have never been to Mariachi before and I am intrigued to see what it is like. Is it permissible to take a break half way through the longer tracks - I am no longer as young as I was !

There aren't many 'long' tracks - mostly they are the same length as you're used to just with a bit more attitude.

Instead of taking a physical break better instead just to get UCP and have a cuddle rest instead

Looking forward to seeing you and Twirly Bird there tonight. Can't think of a better way to get into the right frame of mind for next weekend!

Venue is Victoria Hall, 39 High St, Oakham, Leicestershire, LE15 6AH.

Map of Oakham attached for people who have been confused by the boo boo, O marks the venue and X the parking.

This is certainly permissable... in fact, leaving the dance floor during a break in the middle of a track is perfectly acceptable behaviour, as exhibited by a leading teacher of musicality

Oooer! Do you still do it twice after a long one? - because I might need a lie down

One more bit of advice about the venue - the entrance is at the side, not off the main street. It is in the same street as the car park which is more or less opposite the church.

Is this because you are so used to short bursts of physical activity - usually around 3 or 4 minutes.

No, wait...we are just talking about dancing aren't we

Three or four minutes at a stretch!! You stud that's time enough for two and a coffee for most of us mortals
