    Re: Coughing

I have developed a similar cough/sore throat to you since last Saturday - following on from a lengthy cold that I had just about fully recovered from. My doctor put me on a mild antibiotic since Monday and I am still not much better so I might have to go back again this Monday. In the meantime I am going to try whisky!

Also I am taking Royal Jelly, Echinacea, and any other vitamins I can lay my hands on. I have missed two dancing classes and I am furious! One of my friends blames the close contact dancing for my ongoing illnesses. However, Rachel claims not to have had any colds for around 6 years by taking Echinacea at the first sign.

my partner swears by barroca. Since we have been together he has taken it every day. I have had glandular fever, acute bronchitus, flus, colds and any bugs going around and he hasnt caught any of them.

I take barroca when i am ill and it seems to help me feel better at the time.

I take them occasionally, when i feel a bit run down but the fact it turns your pee fluorescent yellow, can be a bit of a shock, if your not expecting it!

That happens with the Biocare ones I take too - according to a nutrionist friend of mine it's your body getting rid of one of the vitamins it doesn't need. Quite alarming when it first happens though!

Not that taking them seems to have done me much good. I have another cold - seem to get anything that's doing the rounds these days
