The Dalai today went before The Parliamentary Human Rights Committe to plead for them to urge the Human Rights Police to investigate China.
He accuses the Chinese Authorities of false arrest and torture of protesting Tibetans.
China has signed up for Human Rights, but has not ratified it.
Tomorrow he has an interview with Gordon Brown.
Not sure, but there is a group sent by the Human Rights people to investigate human rights abuses.
Yesterday the Committee asked His Holiness if he would ask Gordon Brown to request a probe.
I watched the Dai Lama on TV answering questions.
They asked for instances of torture by the Chinese authorities.
He told a story about how some Buddists Monks had been demonstrating againt the Chines occupation of Tibet.
They were arrested.
A party of other monks, from the same monastry, went to the police station to try to get them released.
They too were arrested. They were all viciously beaten.
One of the monks was 80 years old, and the beating resulted in his leg breaking.
