I'm brand new to Ceroc/Leroc/Modern Jive, but I'm doing my best. Thanks to those of you that allowed me to drag you across the floor as I attempted to impersonate a Ceroc dancer, and I promise I'll get better. I assure you I didn't turn anyone down due to my inexperience with the dance, rather I was grateful for the chance to practice.
Please find me at the next dance event, and if you'll let me know that I turned you down I give you my word I'll dance with you right away regardless of jet lag/being awake 30 hours/having taught since 9am/having eaten once today/not having had a drink/my dog ate it/I didn't hear the alarm/I had a flat tire.
Seriously, I know what it's like to get turned down, and I feel badly. The truth of it is that after 24 years of dancing, my knees simply don't like it when I dance that many songs in a row anymore.
I hope you will accept my apology, and give me a chance to make it up to you...!
