    Classic FM Summer Concerts

Ok, I know its not everyones cup of tea but I thought I would post that Classic FM have a useful listing of all Summer Concerts up on their website. Im sure there must be some people on here that like Classical music (although that's by no means the limit of it)

There are some great events going on. One event of note for those who like to dress up is the Henley Festival. Not to be confused with the Henley Regatta.

Any and all really. The Chelsea one is obviously appealing given the location. As are the Hampstead ones and the Henley one (although not cheap and selling out fast but a great excuse to dress up!).

There is also a concert on at the Royal Festival Hall on the 23rd I wouldnt mind going to. Thats on the main diary page of the classic fm website though.

Maybe we could post an event or two on here and see if we can get a group of us going.

Every year Kew Gardens joins in the festival spirit.

As well as Classical, Jools Holland has his Swing tour making an appearance:

Sadly, the Saturday date is sold out, although Jools Holland is still playing on Tuesday 8th July - not sure about doing this on a school night though.

And since we're on the subject of classical stuff, the O2 is having one performance of the Carmina Burana, with fireworks, canons, etc. Am looking into tickets for Beo and I - not till January though. Imagine it'll be pretty spectacular.
