    Anyone dancing tonight ? (29/4) A test

Ok I've got a simple test

Man Utd are at home to Barcelona in Semi final of European cup

Common sense would 'suggest' 'MEN' will stay in and watch it and dance halls around the country will have too many women over

Im however of the opinion there are only a few 'MEN' that dance.

Most dance men are just 'men' who will be out in great numbers tonight thinking that other dance 'men' will be at home watching football.

They forget only 'MEN' will be at home watching football and not 'men'

Women think dance 'men' are 'MEN' so they think I wont bother going out as there wont be any 'MEN' of course there will be lots of 'men'

So we have extra men at dance and less women

So if you use to having 12 women over go out tonight and get 10 men over

    Await feed back with interest

i know exactly what you are saying Stewart
I for one will definitely be out dancing tonight as real men enjoy doing rather than watching imho
Anyway whenever there is a big football match on we always get men over at chelmsford
Reading your post gives a good explanation of why

I'll be at JJ's tonight. I'm looking forward to dancing with lots of women.

Don't think that Man U & Barcelona mean so much in Glasgow.

On Thursday Rangers are playing in the semi-final of the UEFA Cup. This might just sway the attendance, but I don't normally go dancing on a Thursday anyway.

A theoretical lack of "MEN" (or "men") isn't likely to sway my decision at any time.

i am guessing that by using capital letters you are suggesting that MEN would want to be drinking alcohol and watching telly rather than being out with with their friends doing something which involves actually socialising thinking and actually moving

    I completely disagree

I may or may not be going dancing tonight - but if I'm at home, and the TV happens to go on, it certainly won't be for anything football-related (although Mario Kart Wii may play a small role )

Why does it need to be 'theoretical'

Looks like a good week to test the 'theory'

Bet there will be more men then usual on Thursday

I’m not suggesting MEN are better then men , I think in lay mens terms a lot of dancing men are just not that interested in football and sport in general . Think other men are and will go to a venue if a big football match is on

If I lived near a decent dance venue I might think all the men will be watching football tonight and turn up to see all the other men turn as well (im far more shallow then Ducasi) . Women wont go as they think all men will be watching football

This is a 'theory' I’ve often seen, so await reports with interest tonight ,tomorrow (Chelsea v Liverpool) and Thursday

Last week was pretty even, but I know they've had problems with too many women. Have seen in excess of 10 women over, out of I guess about 70 or so dancers (attendance could be a bit higher than that, not really sure).

Don't know about the TV watchers, but men who attend football matches are supposed to be closet gays or out gays, as are the players.

All that hugging and a kissing each other.

    Yes I am.

I have to say I've stopped watching footy on telly since we got rid of sky so I've fell out the habit. Now I know the game ain't on sky but I still won't be watching it.

Works down here, we nearly always have men over on big football nights.

Case in point, last wednesday when MU/Barca played, 6 men over at WCS.

It was great fun telling that to the ladies who didn't go

I think a lot of that is women think men wont go and more men go thinking men wont go

Could help with gender balance for weekenders

Convince men and women there is a 72hr football match on

Football? Let me see.... watch men in shorts run around after a ball or watch/feel ladies move sinuously on the dance floor.... where's my dance shoes?...

Dancing, just on way out of the door now. The way I view it is that its an easy choice between watching something with a lot of 'big girls blouses' and dancing with the real item
