It has a great art gallery in the centre of town and Chinatown is great to go for dim sum - unfortunately that's the sum total of my Liverpool knowledge - and that was after being shown around by a 'local' - from Southport.

    Depends what you want.

There's several art galleries and museums; Tate Modern, Open Eye, World Museum Liverpool, Maritime Museum etc.

In the summer there's a company that runs a ghost tour of the city.

There's FACT if you're into your cinema.

The Albert Dock. There's some kind of floathing car/boat contraption that goes round there that does a tour.

There's a couple of good theatres.

    Beatles Museum.

There's some good places to eat and some good bars (although I've only been out to Liverpool at night once so I have no idea about the nightlife).

Across the water on and around the Wirral (which is where I'm from) there's a couple more art galleries, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium. Plenty of places to shop.

    And not just LeRoc either.

    xXx
