If anyone fancies going up to the Wellingborough WCS event tomorrow and would like to share journey and, more importantly, petrol costs then just let me know. I am happy to drive.
I will be going from around the Woking area.
I dont think I have made it to any of the central WCS events yet
Anyone going to the Dundee party from Edinburgh ?
Bonar Hall was great but too hot (three cold wash downs/changes and still dripping most of the time).
The music was varied (except the two versions of Summertime!).
Thanks Ladies for all those beautiful dances.
The absolute beginner that had never danced before and claimed "but I cannot dance" was wonderful. We had two lovely dances together. If her friend reads this, then please thanks her. I'm so glad she had the courage to accept my invitation and try to enjoy it.
I danced to the first one and then went to change my shirt. When I came back Summertime was on again. I asked "is that the same record?" and the reply was "no, it's the long version this time". At least two of us were aware something similar was being played twice in ten minutes.
The complete playlist is here

I must be mistaken.
Just to remind people that both cerocMetro Monday night venues are open this Monday - Bishops Stortford and Finchley/Whetstone.
Just to say that I really enjoyed Ealing on Friday night..After a nightmare journey I really needed a good night and I truly did have a great time. Was a little unsettled at first, it being a new venue, not really knowing many people but was great to be greeted by Franco on the desk and to see Sophie demo ing and LYD not too far away who kept me company during class. Loads more friendly faces later on and I got to dance with lots of new people Great to meet Colin who Fletch pimped me out to for the mini fun style open competition. We had some good dances and was great to see him at Slinky's on Saturday too.
Got to finally formally meet Paul F and dance with him, although I am not sure you could call our dances strictly ceroc .. more like a mixture of everything but thoroughly enjoyable, hope to catch you again soon Paul
Great warm up night for the weekend and next time I am down in London I will be sure to go there again
It was entirely my pleasure. I really really enjoyed our dances.
For me, Friday night was an absolute joy. All day I had that feeling. The one were you know you really want to go out and dance in the evening but are not sure where. Well after a recommendation from Emma I thought I would go along to Vibe to see what it was like.
I had an absolutely brilliant night.
I wasn't too sure what to expect music-wise as i had been to JiveNations opening night at that club place. I really disliked the constant club music so I didnt know what to expect on Friday.
I was pleasantly surprised. The music from Roger, Ian (and maybe others) was brilliant. Yes, there were a fair few club tracks but that just allowed for diversity. Something I always ask for in any dance night.
The mini competition was great fun too and didnt encroach into the time much at all.
Great to see so many familiar faces there as well.
In the end I was msiling all the way home. A sure sign of a brilliant night.
Had that feeling after dancing all weekend!
Only downside to the weekend is feet covered in blisters and I am off sick today after having the migraine from hell last night... think a combination of lack of sleep, dehydration, heat, exhaustion and the adrenaline wearing off has all kicked in... it is all worth it tho
