I've ticked on the poll that I'm going to Utopia on Friday. I won't be there, but Mr Fruity will. I'm sure Fletch will let you know who he is (if you don't know him already)

Can't believe Saturday is tomorrow - weekend has come around really quick! Looking forward to workshop and freestyle although that will make 4 nights this week I've been dancing...

What does non transferable actually mean ?

If you have listed the people in your party how would they know if you transferred it ?

In response to the Blues Room opening time, we would like begin at the same time as the ice breaker class in the main room. This is usually around 8.30. Chances are we will have music playing from when the doors open at 8pm.

The majority of the time we find only a small percentage commit to the back room early on. It's usually when the Cabaret has finished that the room settles.

I like the relaxed start. It gives us a chance to play to extremes and tune in to individuals' tastes. Also gives me a chance to pounce on the ladies that stick their heads through the door.

It makes such a difference alternating between choosing and dancing to the music. It tips the balance between playing from the heart, not the head.

Sorry, change of plans. Have read the mountain weather forecast, and the weather on Sunday is meant to be fantastic, so I'm off hillwalking! This of course means an early start, so I'll not be going dancing Saturday night.

    It depends on the cakes.

Personally, I hate shop bought cake.

The only venues Ive been to with home made tasty cake are -

    1. Muswell Hill - cakes/pasties baked by ESG's own hand.

    2. Amir's Sunday T Dances, baked by xxxxxx's? own hand.

There used to be gorgeous gateaux on HMS President, but now they are tasteless frozen ones.

Probably Sparkles, she used to bake for Monday night Jango and the t-dances, so unless she's hung up the apron...?

There's going to be chocolate cake on offer at RH&B tonight. My whole flat smells delicious now. Ooooh, I'm getting hungry!!

Of course you remember the golden rule that ALL cakes must be quality checked by BOTH DJs at RH&B before the general public ..... just a safety precaution of course.

    Red Hot and Blue.

Didn't feel like dancing at all .... man flu .... but as I was in town thought I should show up. With the great music, superb dancers and even better cake ..... even feeling sorry for myslef, I had a great time. Loads of good dances all round ... and a great finishing track by DDemon ..... very interesting remix of an old country classic .... wonderful end to a wonderful night. Now .... on to Mama Mortons for more of the same.

Well I may have missed RH&B, Mama Morton's and LM's chocolate cake - but I DID get to go salsa dancing in a Berlin club instead.
