I'd have to say DavidB and Lily - Lilys spare hand dances better then most peoples whole body

...and a few more Amir. Graham Fox. Tas. Nigel & Nina. Andy & Rena. J&T etc...(could go on all day)

That would have to be an understatement... I actually still haven't danced with Jordan... It took me 4 and a half hours to even pluck up the courage to ask, I almost vomited and then he wasn't free anyway.... arrrgghhh.... hopefully in February in Sydney I'll finally get a bit more courage and ask earlier.. it will only have taken 3 years for me to get enough courage to dance with him!

Do you get hit a lot by other people's whole bodies then? (I'm guessing you have some basis for comparison here....)

I imagine that at some stage or another he's been hit by Lily's.

If her spare arms hits as hard as he says it does then I shudder to think how hard all of her at once can hit him. David was probably a fair bit taller before any of us met him.....

Re: Who is your dance idol?

An extensive list, but important to note from my own perspective....

I think Janie Cronin deserves a special mention for her years at Fulham at the Leopard Lounge and Town Hall. She brought home the fun element of the dancing to anyone who attended her classes and also gave me personally confidence initially in my rhytmn.

Mick Wenger, with his dynamite classes at same venues between 1999-2002 with Hannah Thompson and adding to the party atmosphere.

Who can ever forget Jordan and Tatiana's appearance at Rebel Yell in 2003 when you saw them do some phenomenal variations and you asked yourself 'did they really do what I thought I saw them do'

Seeing the US Open Strictly Swing DVD from 2002, when Kyle and Tatiana won, with Jason Colacino and Laureen Baldovi second and Jordan and Deborah third dancing to The Thrill is Gone were other defining influences.

Currently, it has to be Paul and Cat who just broaden my dance knowledge every time I attend their workshops and classes.

Me too. I have a photo of her leaping whilst doing the splits above my desk at work.

I still admire most the 3 Goddesses that I aspired to be back in 1997 when I first started Cerocing at Bowdon:

Sue Taylor (the exceedingly stylish Ceroc teacher)

Kim (the red haired Irish demonstrator)

Ellie Hunt (who was also exceedingly stylish)

    Daisy
