French beginners coming to Scotland !!! April 10 - 16

Graham and I are bringing 8 French beginners to sample Scottish hospitality and the world of CEROC next week.

We are planning to go to the Edinburgh class on Thursday, the Glasgow party on Saturday and the Glasgow class on Tuesday.

Hope to catch up with some of our 'old' dance chums and can't wait to see our beginners' eyes light up

Looking forward to seeing you all Wendy, I'll be in Edinburgh on Thursday and Glasgow on Saturday (probably not wearing a kilt, though )

I've seen you in tartan and it suits.

I do hope the Frenchies are mixed sex (for the sake of our Ladies).
I'll do my best to try and behave with the beginner Followers.

Well you could always wear your smooooth trousers. Where's the smiley in a stripey t-shirt and beret when you need one

Will be nice to see you and hopefully we'll get a nice girly dance

Yip 4 men and 4 ladies. And I'll be watching you (Robert de Niro pointing to eyes gesture in Meet the Fockers).

    Hi Wendy,

My brother's over visiting from Oz just now so, for a change of scene, thought I would drag him through to Edinburgh class tonight. He's never done any MJ but has done a bit of swing (but not WCS!) so will be new to him as well as your French beginners.

May even catch a dance with you too, if I'm lucky?

    See you later on,

    Hi guys,

I have sent an email and a text to everyone who gave us their details (including Graham & Wendy) but tonight's class in Edinburgh has been moved to the Queen Charlotte Rooms, 56a Queen Charlotte Street, Leith. EH6 7ET.

Our French visitors are on their way and looking forward to dancing with you all.

Due to the change I have also had to re-arrange my schedule and I'll be there too!
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!

Sorry Wendy - Leith is wrong side of Edinburgh for me - takes a c. 50 min each way trip up to around a 1 hr 10 mins each way trip - just too much on a school night.

    Maybe see you Sat though.

    Cheers,

If you're coming to Rutherglen for the party tomorrow they will all be there.

I'm looking forward to catching up with them, and of course, dancing with Wendy, Graham and all of the French visitors

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who made our Fench visitors welcome!!! They had a magic time.

A special thanks to Franck for all the French music on Thursday, to Sheena for her cheeky wee tartan skirt (hope your fishnets survived our dance and my nose is fine BTW ), to Mairi for her warm hospitality and attempting French and remembering William's name in the class, and CJ for his kilt all THOSE dances - you are BAAAAD ! Had great dances with my old favourites (Paul and McJester and Edinburgh Brian to name a few)and discovered some new favouites too (Jamie - just yummy). Just magic !

Scotland did us proud (it was even sunny the day they went to Arran ) and the dance scene is just superb. Our wee froggies are all fired up and full of enthusiasm so that is just wonderful.

See you all again soon And a Versailles welcome awaits you lot any time so get in touch.

    Wendy x
