Slinkys 3rd May 2008 Pre-Champs Party

A little bird tells me that Ceroc Greenwich are running another Slinkys the night before the Champs. Have had some great nights there in the past and this should be the perfect warm up for the Troxy on the Sunday.

DJ Misery (Dan Hudson) upstairs and Bust A Move Marc Forster handling the smoother tunes downstairs sounds like a recipe for success. So, are you gonna be there?

Unlike previous events, this doesn't seem to be advance ticket only.

I had a good night at Slinkys. It's strange that the kind of music I would dislike at Hammersmith I will happily dance to upstairs at Slinkys. Maybe it's because there's more space?

The floors were better than on the last couple of Slinkys which was a plus point and I had many enjoyable dances with partners familiar and new. And, yes, DJ Misery even managed to look cheerful on occasion

Aye aye then, The trouble and I went last night and had a great time, only the 2nd time we have been to this venue and yet again nothing but praise for this venue.

Nice to see Mikeyr up and about and quite a few forumites there.

All in all a cracking night, well done to all involved.
