Just didn't get our butts in gear this time. We both have young families and are very busy people and respect each other for this. Get together whenever we can. We will be entering Musselburgh this year and Blackpool next year if all goes according to plan.

Haven't seen you at a ceroc class regularly for a 'few years'.

You would have thought that CTA would have actively pushed CTA instructors to enter. Having said that, I'm not sure how many could compete at the top level. There are the likes of Emma, Paul Harris, Lisa, Lorna ... but do they ever compete in freestyles?

It would be nice to be able to promote at Ceroc events as we do at many other modern jive events like Le Roc, Pulse, Southport, Boogie Nights, Want 2 Dance, Ginger Jive, Rockbottoms And the list goes on and in turn they do at our event.
I have spoken to Mike about this at Storm, He assured me that Ceroc HQ has no problem with achance2dance and our comp. However he did tell me that his franchise owners have. He assured me he would have a meeting with them and try to get them on board. As of yet, we have heard nothing and from what i have been told by other comp organisers they cannot promote at Ceroc events

I may be bias but i dont see the harm in allowing someone like us (achance2dance) to promote at any venue, we have no weekly classes, no weekenders and pose no threat to any organisation and thats how the majority of venue's see us.

Correct Lorna. And you won't for many more years to come.

That's the best thing about being an observer....you don't have to take part
