    On a similarly ironic note (but far more sensible), Hector Munro's (Saki) last words, spoken just before a sniper shot him in the trenches during WW1 are reputed to have been: 'Put that damned cigarette out!'

    Oh - and urban legend has it that there have been quite a few firearms instructors who's last words were along the lines of: 'Point that *(&(*&" thing somewhere el...'

    A roof workers mate allegedy suggexted that they shoulduse boards on an corrugated asbestosroof on a factory, but the roofer said, stepping out, £When the good Lord want to take me ..."


    There was also a report of a doctor who was visiting a patient, but paused to take his own pulse and said "Stopped.".

    Mel Blanc's epitaph (the chap who voiced Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Barney Rubble, and hundreds of other cartoons) was "That's all Folks!".

    Think I'd like this as my choice as well
