Did you see the footage of Paul Burrell admitting he lied in court? If he gets prosecuted for that, he could be doing porridge for 10 years.
After Herculean efforts to pass himself off as a rational human being, Fayed finally let us all see what a nitwit he is.
As the BBC commentator put it, the conspiracy involved Prince Charles, Prince Philip, Tony Blair, the secret services of three different countries (France, Britain, USA), paparazzi, three of his own erstwhile heads of security, and the french ambulance service.
When asked by a journalist outside the hearing this evening what evidence there was of his wild accusations, Fayed announced that she was 'an idiot' because she is also part of the conspiracy to silence him.
I confess that I have found it necessary to search my soul before publicly declaring that I too am part of the conspiracy.
That's right; over the past ten years I have been keeping an important secret. In 1997 I became convinced that, after 21 days in each other's company, Diana and Dodi were going to get married and have a child. For reasons I am as yet unable to articulate, I felt that this was unthinkable. (Mainly, my objections revolved around the possibility that poor Harry and Wills might find themselves related to the most repellent Egyptian in history...er, not Dodi, obviously.)
I personally alerted my MP and he contacted the speaker of the House of Commons. There was a secret sitting of parliament, in the early hours of the morning, which I had the privilege of witnessing. Charles and Philip did indeed address Parliament on that day and a secret act of parliament was passed. Teams from the SAS and MI6 were present in the lobby of the house and were immediately despatched to Paris. Half of them dressed as photographers, and the rest imprisoned the bartenders of the Ritz Hotel, subsequently impersonating them and plying Henri Paul with alcoholic drink. The Mercedes was secretly disabled by a top-secret device which could only be triggered by a 1 million candlewatt flash. I personally obtained a High-Power Ever-ready torch from an all-night branch of Robert Dyas and handed it over to the SAS operative who was to be stationed in the underpass.
So there it is. I am ready to accept the judgment of society.

I'm more partial to David Icke's take on it...that Henri Paul was actually mind controlled to drive into the 13th pillar of what used to be a satanic temple for lizard-like fifth dimentional extra terrestrials to worship the goddess diana...now come on, how could anyone fail to see that as the most plausible scenario???
We'll have to wait and see.
He's under no obligation, in such proceedings, to do anymore than answer truthfully the questions that are put to him. Was the Princess pregnant? Were she and Dodi planning to get married?
Waffling about whether he revealed all that was discussed in a 3 hour conversation with the queen may be no more than self-serving puffery - look how big I am! And sneaky too - I put one over on the coroner.
It is annoying that the pompous little prick couldn't keep his mouth shut because, of course, it's exactly what Mohammed (oo, can we call him that? he's not much of a teddy bear, of course) Falsehood wants: suggestions of perjury.
This is exactly why I said, a while back:
He's now shown himself as a total nutter, in open court - and the icing on the cake was him raving at the journalist for daring to ask a question
I bet he never thought he'd have to actually justify himself, all these years when he asked for a jury-based inquiry. I thought the bodyguard guy was bad enough, Fayed is just a total loon.
This is great value-for-money, it's better than Corrie.
Oh, and:
Umm, do you reckon you can discount the theory now...?
Saw the news footage of him since I posted earlier. Have to say if I was acting for him and he behaved like that on one other occasion, I'd be thinking about asking him to be examined by a specialist geriatrician. He's showing what - to my untutored eye - seem to be some symptoms of dementia.
He's been a mendacious and vicious nuisance for some time, but now he seems to have turned a corner. If I had shares in House of Fraser I'd be unloading them j-u-s-t about now.

T-shirt idea of the day "I was part of the MI6 conspiracy and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"
please wear outside court. thanks
What, rather than just, you know, take his money and pander to his delusions like Mansfield has done? Didn't we already have this discussion about legal ethics?
Anyway, I love this summary of Al-Fayed's claims:
BBC NEWS | UK | Point-by-point: Al Fayed's claims
Some especially juicy bits:
and:Britain is not really a democracy, but is controlled from behind the scenes by Prince Philip, the Lord Chamberlain and an organisation called the Way Ahead group "who decide the destiny of this country"
and:Prince Philip was a "Nazi" and a "racist", and his real name "ends with Frankenstein"
Boy, you couldn't make this stuff up... I wonder what the Lord Chamberlain did to annoy him?In addition, mortuary staff took Diana's "guts out to really completely falsify the body" and conceal that she was pregnant. She was embalmed to "corrupt the body"
No kidding. Me too, apparently.
From that web page, the conspiracy includes:
- Prince Philip
- The Lord Chamberlain
- The Way Ahead group ("who decide the destiny of this country")
- Photographer James Andanson,
- British security services / MI6
- Tony Blair
- French security services employees may have been part of
- The French ambulance crew that took Diana to hospital
- Robert Fellowes (the Princess's brother-in-law and at the time the Queen's then-private secretary)
- Sir Michael Jay, at that time the British ambassador to France, was also involved in the conspiracy
- The CIA
- Prince Charles
- Paul Burrell
- Diana's sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale
- Henri Paul
- Rosa Monckton (Diana's close friend)
- Professors Lecomte and Pepin at the mortuary
- Other mortuary staff
- Jack Straw
- "dark forces"
- Trevor Rees (Bodyguard ) and his colleagues Kes Wingfield and Ben Murrell
- Journalists working for the Daily Mail, the Mail on Sunday, The Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph
- Lord Stevens
I want to be part of the Dark Forces, personally, they sound cool. The Way Ahead group sound like a bunch of wusses.
EDIT: the transcripts, in all their glory, from yesterday are here:

There's no denying that he's totally lost the plot. His irratic rantings are doing nothing whatsoever for his credibility.
The problem is that if there was any truth in the whole 'murder' theory, he's blown his chances of being taken seriously. The Royals must be loving this and rubbing their blood stained hands with glee.
DJ, thanks for the transcript links - superb!
See, he lied with his first words, claiming his name is Bloobah Blahbah al Fayed. He isn't entitled to the 'al'.
You know, I was going to read the transcript, at least until the end of his 'statement', but I can't. It's the usual howl of anguish you get from people who feel a strong sense of unfairness but have no idea what remedy they actually want to obtain.
Any lawyer who has dealt with litigants in person - usually on the other side, but there are occasions when LiPs finally do what judges routinely suggest they should do, that is, get legal advice - knows that their statements of case, witness statements, all documents, are full of rationalisation, appeals to fairness, assertions of inferences that aren't supported, tortuous logic, almost always allied with total failure to understand what is actually required, in law, to succeed in the arguments they wish to make.
The difference, of course, is that most people don't have £millions to fritter away...
