Nothing to do with Lee's music, just that most of us who travel down from the Letchworth area used to leave around 10:30 anyway, and as it only costs a couple of quid to pop in for the last 45mins, and we literally pass the venue on the way home. So why not. Also allows me to catch some of my favorite dancers from St Albans, who I no longer see as.

Also note that we don't go to Letchworth on A Monday either? Thats definitely because of the music ..for me anyway!

Bleeding hell did we give it a go!! Thanks Pawplay for introducing me to 'tangoesque'. Never concentrated so much in my life but thoroughly enjoyed it

My thoughts on on the night? Well having read about it i thought i'd give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. In fact i had a great night and ended up having some lovely dances

Apart from weekenders there doesn't seem to be many classes that can accomodate the more experienced dancer and i found the intermediate/advanced class to be taught well but quickly enough so as not to impede on freestyle time.

The music was well paced with a good variety of up tempo and low beat styles to make it interesting to dance to and i loved the alternative last half hour with nice definitive wcs, blues and tango tracks for those who enjoy MJ but want a moment to still practice non MJ dance styles.

The level of dancers was mixed but friendly and it was good to see the taxi's and teachers making an effort to dance till the end with both beginners and the experienced and make them feel welcome

However i have to agree with Jivelad on the floor. It was rather 'interesting', definitely kept you on your toes so to speak but not too bad to put you off your dance.

Apart from that, i still had a good night and i'll be going back

hehe - you beat me to it.

I should point out that if anybody wants to get Adam's weekly email which does list any changes to weekly classes, they should email him . Email address is on the website (CerocMetro Home Page)

its ok, the 11.00 till 11.30 is now a more blues/westcoast swing finish because dad finished his west coast in southgate and moved onto hatfield last monday and he really enjoyed dancing at ijig to wescoast and blues tunes that he could practise his moves too.

    hows the westcoast coming along?

my mother has started lindy hop

    dear god...
