    Post Southport lurgy.

I feel like crap. It seems like i'm not the only one either! A few people seem to have got the post Southport lurgy. Some having (like me) a fluey type cold and others, no cold, but being sick.
Any one else out there got the same after returning?
Is it just because of the lack of sleep and healthy food, so your body is less resistant or is it all that close bodily contact for 3 days making it easy to catch germs from each other?

Last February, I was ill during the weekend, and for the rest of the month with (man) flu and then tonsillitis.

This time I came back feeling tired but otherwise well. Maybe it's because I didn't get a dance with you.

I had man flu on the Friday night and it has returned with a vengance.

I think its the latter. Pretty inevitable with 1500 or so people, there are bound to be some with colds etc. There are a few bugs going around - that vomiting thing (nice!) or a sort of mini flu which is like a flu but just lasts 4-6 days instead of a few weeks. I had it in

I had to carry tissues round with me - but I didn't have a cold, it was some sort of allergy, and I kept explaining as I didn't want people to think I was getting my tissue out and blowing my nose because I had a cold! I did come home feeling a bit stiff and sore but it was just because I danced so much and didn't sleep a lot!

I'm ok. Sadly missed dancing with you, though.
I did take some vitamin C tablets while I was there, though. That might have helped.

So there are approximately 600 men that are glad they didn't dance with me and about 50 that regret doing so now.

I still feel like crap, i've had to take time off work now, as there is a bunch of clog dancers that have taken up residence in my head!

No, Dave, there I disagree. That's only if you shave your head too.

See the vids posted above by Ruby and me......it can require emergency assistance - and plenty of soup.
