I almost opened a choc mini-roll I had in my drawer at work this morning - then gave it to a work mate who fortunately scoffed it straight away

Then I went and bought loads of non-chocy snacks such as fruit/crisps and also a packet of fruit pastelles which I just ate all in one go

It's gonna be a long 6/7 weeks

Giving up chocolate only to pig out on crisps and sweets is not going to really achieve much, ya think?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the blissful simplicity of not having religion in my life. If I'm wrong, then the draw back may be that I burn in hell for all eternity, but at least I get to eat cake, drink booze and have my lights on for the next month

I only use low energy light bulbs.

The idea is that you take the bulb out for lent so you can't use it at all, THEN replace it with a low energy one when Lent is finished.

Have changed all my low energy bulb, which I have been using for the past 2 years, back to normal.

They were giving me migraines. I never would have made the connection, ( I never used to get migraines) but luckily it was in the news.

What will I do when the bulbs become become compulsory.

(I no longer have a car, so don't you all start on my carbon footprint)
