    I failed miserably to give up chocolate, so declared yesterday 'Pancake Saturday', used up all my store cupboard, stuffed my face and will try again...ahhhhhhh, the benefits of not strictly observing any religious traditions .

    (could be pancake day every day for a while though given my lack of willpower)
