Northwest On Tuesday - Where To Go?

After my barring at Nantwich on Tuesday, I need somewhere else to go. I have only ever tried Bowden as another venue on Tuesday and didn't like it at all.

Any suggestions?

Chester is an excellent venue, good music, good teacher with Paula and the people are lovely. If you go say hello to Steve for me, he is the venue manager. They all go to the pub after, just across the street where the landlord makes big plates of sandwhiches for the dancers.

But where do you park at Chester? If there was decent parking, I would go there more. And I refuse to pay umpteen quid to park underground. I know some sidestreets to park but then I jus worry about my car.

Well - why not borrow a car from an acquaintance you don't like much? That way, every time you remembered that something nasty might be happening to it, it'd bring a smile to your face, rather than a worried frown.

My ex lives in Chester, spent a lot of time leaving my car down side streets and use the one by the Guildhall frequently when I dance. In 2 years, touch wood, everything's been fine.

Chester is my venue of choice. There's a small chance I might be there tonight (but I was there last night so maybe not) so maybe see you there

2. Walking my main dance partner to their car under their request.
3. Standing at the front in lessons being the nearest space where I was when I entered the dance floor.

That, together with one unnamed persons pathetic childish lies (not my words) got me barred. A person I spoke to yesterday said there should be a petition about it but I'm not the one to kick that off myself.

I'm probably in a bad position to advise about other venues since I live 3 minutes walk from Nantwich Civic Hall, love dancing there, and haven't been barred and so have never been anywhere else on a tuesday night, but I'd probably go for 8 Beat Fusion myself.
