its a very good point that people expect the same but also it can put them off if they see you playing. They presume you will be the same with them and think, eeeeouuk no thanks.

Not sure how to get over that tho.!

I think dance chemistry is seperate from sexual chemistry.

In the past I just knew that dance chemistry is no guarentee of sexual chemistry - in fact in my case I found the opposite.

I hate to say this, but the quiet guys who can't dance and shuffle around the floor quietly always turn out to be great in bed for me. Whereas the guys who cut a rug with me on the floor were disapointing in the bedroom.

Yep – or at least that's what the comments say. Disappointed to find out it was a choreographed routine. I guess in retrospect it should have been obvious.

Talking about this acting element of the chemistry between dance partners (well, competition partners at least), I wonder what the potential is for something more to develop? After all, aren't Hollywood actors and actresses always supposed to be getting it together due to working in close proximity and having to portray intimacy?

I also wonder if dance partners aren't acting but feel some sort of dance chemistry, how obvious it is to those watching?
Not easier at all - was plain weird to start with because I knew he didnt find me attractive... easier to feed off the energy if you know the partner finds you attractive.
I learnt in the world of partner dance (from ballroom dancing) "what happens on wood (ie the dancefloor) stays on wood (the dancefloor)"... because it's expression and in some cases (especially perfomances) "acting". This made it all safe - cos you knew if you and your partner had this understanding then nothing could be misconstrued.

Apparently Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev never slept together.

He was bisexual, not gay btw, and did sleep with women.

Okay, she was married, but her husband was a phillanderer - until that is he ended up in a wheelchair.

    Thomas Blacharz and Max Pitruzzella.

Yes, but it is mostly a parody of a championship-winning old Kevin St. Laurent and Carla Heiney swing routine.
    Maybe ?
Search YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. if not.

What's really funny is it has been included on a German 'evolution of swing dance' web-page without any comment on it being a ****-take !
