They're worried about her classroom discipline in a school where the headmaster is called Andrew Chicken?
"Why did the headmaster cross the road...?" etc. etc.
Oh, I'm not knocking it, the world needs more adverts like that.
I'm just saying, you make choices in life. Let's take it to the extreme - say she'd actually done a full-on porno, say she was Linda Lovelace or whovever. Would she still be seen as fit to be a teacher, with that level of baggage?
Sometimes it's not that simple.
Um, that's three different women, isn't it?
It was clearly not made to appear on TV. It was to have limited distribution in the building industry.
Hardly!
I don't think so. She probably didn't think she would become a teacher though.

It's really not "suggestive" of the positions that the couples get into - so to me it looks like soft porn. There were more graphics of the actions than one would see on a regular day-time soap - a little more skin from the women and it would be on par with "sex and the city".
Watched a few – I'm not an avid fan though. Anyway, I'd called it a "sexy sitcom", rather than soft-porn.
Anyway, what you call it or the advert matters little. I don't think the school teacher should be sacked for doing this before she became a teacher.
I think though that she has put herself in a difficult position (fnarr fnarr), though it's not really so different than the geography teacher we had who went on mastermind and didn't do so well. Every kid in the school saw it, and his classes were disrupted as a result.
The whole thing did eventually calm down, though we didn't have YouTube back then...

Oh dear, what I find most amusing is one of the quotes in the article:
Another added: "It appears her character is possibly not best suited to such a highly regarded school.
Are they suggesting that posh, well educated kids don't have sex and don't have fantasies? WAKE UP! I am certain that this video would not have been at all shocking for these students to see. Why do people grow into parents and forget the carefree attitudes of their own teenage years - it's bizarre. Also, why do people believe that those attending private school are more sheltered and of a better moral disposition?
What, SATC or porn?
I agree - and yes, that's a good analogy. Kids pounce on any weakness, basically.
That's the thing, isn't it? Every action we take is preserved for posterity now, and can be resurrected with ease.
