Sounds like it's torture Paul day

If only you could add up all the discounts the e-mails offer... they'd probably wind up paying you to go

Why wouldn't you do a few private lessons which would pay for it ?

They havn't asked me to teach at that weekender and I certainly can't go and teach privates at a weekender I have not been invited to. That would be wrong.
I don't actually know where I stand with Ceroc these days as I think setting up my own WCS class may have dampened their enthusiasm to ask again.
I hope that isn't the case, as we are hardly going to take over the world, but I understand it's business at the end of the day.

Well you could... but if I am going to another weekend in May (as well as SP that is) it will be Blaze, so this one is out for me. Its only a week after Blaze so I think that will be the weekend it has most impact on, esp for people in the South of England - will maybe opt for Camber instead.

That sounds like sour grapes from them although the WCS site does suggest ?

    Re: Viva Las Vegas

Why can't Ceroc HQ send out the emails rather than have every franchise I've ever danced with spam me with the damn things? Still, associating Camber with Las Vegas gave me a good belly laugh, I'm sure there's something under the trades descriptions act we could do there

No, not going to this one, I wont go to Camber due to the state of the place.

What? Are you saying Elvis won't be putting in an appearance?
I might have been tempted, it will be odd not to go to Camber this year for the first time in 10 years, and I did enjoy Storm last year, even though it was missing a certain je ne sais quoi, but I just can't spare the time. Most of my weekends until July are already accounted for.

Perhaps they should borrow some of those alligators, that'll soon get rid of the seagulls! (It'll also tidy up the bodies of all the dancers that got lost trying to find their way back to their chalet at 4am)

I'm currently sitting in a hotel by LAX, about to start a road-trip from LA to 'Vegas, via San Francisco.

OK, this has nothing to do with the thread, but it was a good opportunuty for me to show off...

    Re: Viva Las Vegas

I'm going!! Figured it was the closest to Vegas that I will ever be! Plus there is still a good amount of gambling to be had!

What are the odds of having an awful dance?

Whats the chances of being trod on during the weekend>

How many elbows to the ribs do you bet your gonna get?

Its soooooo much more than dancing! lol

Did I forget to mention its my Birthday on the 16th. So I want loads of birthday cards and presents. (funny thing is nobody knows who I am!) :-(
