Pah... it's all in your head, just like the pain of childbirth and having the painters in.. Imagine, like poor Lucky, the pain of having to tote a couple of large sperical objects around that create their own momentum like a couple of pendulus water melons.... Ok, well maybe you don't have to imagine that...

I think you should have yours done Stokie, you could have it done for charity, we could sell tickets to watch.

what about South Port, i'm sure Gerry would do it to support you, if it was for charity.

He's then off teaching in Egypt for a week, and then both Lucky and Ruby are back together from 8th February and will be attending Utopia at Twickers that Friday (I think he wants his kacks back....)

They will also be at Swish, Storm, Utopia Evesham on 29th Feb and teaching workshops in Rochester and Evesham too.

They will be teaching BLANGO at Rochester on 23rd February. Welcome To Ceroc Kent- The Home of Modern Jive for details and what not.

Happened to spot this on the Ceroc London website today, for those of you into "privates"

For those of you who had the pleasure of doing some classes with our ‘American Imports’ last year – Lucky and Ruby then good news, they are back! Only for a fleeting visit but you will be able to see them at Swish, Storm & Swinging the Blues. Better still if you really are keen to hone your Blues / Swing skills then these guys are allocating 1 week for private lessons during their stay. Lessons will take place in West London and if you wish to book a lesson with them please email cerocpr@btinternet.com to arrange this.
Shame that they didn't say which week was allocated

I think it's next week and currently they are booking Mon, Tues & Weds. I'm sure there will be other dates in between their travels and best thing is to speak to them when you see them. They both fly in again tomorrow and will be at UTOPIA this Friday.

I don't know yet: let them get settled in tonight and I'll ask Ruby Doo to post something over the next couple of days.

Re: The further adventures of Lucky & Ruby Dooby Doo...

Good Morning y'all! Lucky and I have been reunited... Lucky just breezed in from the deserts of Egypt and I have escaped the blizzards of Chicago. We are still jet-lagged, but now properly hung-over.

Anyways... we're so happy to be back already. I can't believe three months have gone by. If you gave me your email address and I didn't email you, please don't feel left out. I was barely able to keep up with anyone once I got back to the states. I hit the ground running and had a horrible cold/flu thing for two months and was working my ass off. But now that I'm back, I'm catching my breath and I'm happy to clarify our schedule, particularly in regards to... *ahem* privates.

    The specifics:
    schedule located here:
    Swing and Blues with Ruby

privates (lessons people! just dance lessons!) at Ceroc Headquarters all this week... Monday thru Thursday, Feb 11-14. We can take reservations for private lessons from 11am to 7pm (last lesson at 6).

Email me directly for booking: dance at ruby-red.com so that I see your email.

If you happen to live near Ealing, where we'll be staying and just want to grab a coffee, drop me a note. We'll be going lindy-hopping in the evenings around London next week as well, so if you'd like to join us, we'd love to have you. Oh... and LemonCake... I believe Monday evening, we may be out dancing... drop me a note if you're about.

    Looking forward to Utopia tonight!
