A fascinator is one of those head dresses that you attach to your head with a comb or an alice band. They are made generally of feathers and lacey material.

I have no trouble with multispins and drops in hats... My new trilby is quite small and the brim is quite close to the head so as such, doesn't interfere with the lead. Trampy and Caz are the only people that have managed to knock my hat off mid-dance and that was during some arm-y type - ladies comb move I think.

I like them (not on me ). I think they can look very stylish.

And here was me thinking you'd be sporting one at Southport (along with the shorts )

(I do own a hat that I wear at weekenders from time to time though have hit people with the brim, especially in the blues room... )

That's my experience, mostly due to the ability to select appropriate moves.

Can see you in a nice red one now

We did have a "hats and gloves" theme night at our Doncaster Ceroc class before Christmas and that was interesting.. Most hats didn't get in the way at all.. mind you the reindeer antlers did take the p1s$ a little bit especially on the tall ladies when trying to turn them! Fun tho!

I've worn a hat a couple of times dancing. It didn't do anything for me. I've no idea what it did for other people.
