    Grand National 2008

    Any tips for this?

    I'm going to have an each way flutter on King Johns Castle.

    don't pick the favourite, they don't win often and you don't win much if they do.

    oh...and its a mugs game..

    ive just enterered the work sweepstake, i pulled out Comply or Die....

    so here is a tip, stay away from that one cause i never win. xx

    3 favourites have won in the last 12 runnings at 7-1 each which would actually give you a profit if you had bet on the favourite every year withint that time-frame. (Doesnt apply if you go further back though)

    I won with Comply or Die!! i only put on 50p as i was skint, and won £4 from it, so i am a happy bunny tonight as it was my first win on Grand National!!

    I agree in general. But the Grand National is an exception and my 150 quid says otherwise Its also one of the best value and easiest horse races to pick the winner.
