I enjoy Christmas and Boxing Day as you can be as leisurely as you possible can. If you are a dancer like we are, you can catch your breath and prepare for the next big event going on.

Christmas Day always is the one day where you are forced to sit at home and put your feet up because no places are open and travel is virtually non-existent in public transport in London. I like having a lie-in on Xmas Day, then drifting in and out of sleep where possible to catch up.

You can tell that someone doesn't cook the Christmas dinner!

Am preferring Boxing day - this is my chance to put my feet up and relax afer lots of hard work in the kitchen yesterday. Still have some cooking to do, but it's more low-key and can just sit and watch TV - not even leaving the house today

And I've just persuaded my Dad to make a pot of tea - the first thing he's actually done since he arrived here on Sunday night! But bless him, at 79 he deserves to be waited on

We were originally dreading both as its the first year after Barbs' mother died (we used to have her at ours over the period)
Having said that both days were great in different ways
Christmas day turned into a family affair my brother came to stay and Barbs' son came with his partner in the afternoon
Boxing day was just Barbs and I chilling in front of the telly and playing games
    Very nice indeed

    Hated both!

Christmas Day was rubbish, loads of family being fake and cheesy jokes... The evening was saved by Caz dropping by and playing on the wii.

Boxing day was ill, slept all day and spent most of the evening sneezing & coughing!

    Roll on NYE!!

Re: Which did you enjoy most

Spent a fair amount of time on both days in the kitchen helping with the family dinners. Church on Christmas morning was nice.

Did WCS and MJ demos on Boxing night for relatives which was fun! And a barn dance on Boxing Night.

Not sure which day was best, but all was relaxed, time with family and friends, good food, off work. A nice break.

Today must be the best for me. Me, sis (Trouble) and Gav have had 4 bottles of wine, lager, snowballs, etc. Then we had a game of Trivial Persutes.

Question - Which US President's inaugural address included the line: Let us never negitiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate?

Answer (Troubles answer, not mine) - The White House

    Strong coffee for Michele please.

Xmas day was good as I had a chilled out day with my folks. Boxing day was also good as I had a lazy day followed by some funky dancing in Dundee, which resulted in some after drinks in a local drinking establishment! Also met 2 more lovely boys from the forum

Do you think the forum will run out of lovely boys to meet?
