I bought a copy of the decalogue I have to watch. And Clint's two Iwo Jima films. And batman Begins. And I need to re-watch Whale Rider and Bob Roberts.

    That should keep me entertained.

    Re: Xmas telly?

When does Christmas actually ‘start’ and what is ‘Christmas tele’

Shops say from August to mid November

For me after work Friday 21st December and as im off till 2nd Jan

I think from 21st is a fair place to start the Christmas tele viewing from 21st ?

I see the BBC have started with there fancy logo type thingies so maybe it has already started

All episodes are repeated in the small hours of Xmas Eve 01:25 to 04:25 on BBC1

Lots of Fred & ginger movies on BBC 4

As far as I can tell its a space going Titanic, rather than the actual 'ship in the water' setting. So its meant to be people in the future trying to recreate a feeling of an ocean liner rather than being historical.

On that basis I guess Kylie can wear whatever she wants.

All her decent outfits are on display at the Kelvingrove Art Galleries at the moment, so the poor love obviously had to make do with an old pair of tights and some undies. Bless her!

Fans of "It's a Wonderful Life" might be interested in watching the Holby City Christmas episode next Thursday. Whether they spend the hour screaming "Sacrilege!" or enjoying the tribute is up to them.
