The following seems fishy to me:
May 16 - 18 - Ceroc Viva Las Vegas - Camber Sands, Rye
That date seems to be replaced with TBA on the CEROC ESCAPE DANCE WEEKENDERS. What is the likelihood that this gets moved to clash with Franco's Riot. Ceroc is already head to head with Franco in October with Breeze. To be fair Ceroc did announce the October date first. Just giving appearance they are altering a pre announced date (May) to suit. No proof though. Maybe someone informed could comment.
The Bliss weekend is rather crowded too. Weymouth and Torquay events. I recognise that venues are busy and the Autumn season is shorter.
Clashes I accept are inevitable. Moving something to make it clash would be unnecessary. Getting ahead of things at the moment. So will wait and see.
I might bet you a drink, but since I wouldn't know you even if you were dancing next to me you will have to buy your own.
Poor customer service?
I guess it depends on what your motivation is.
If you're doing it to muscle-out a competitor, then in the long run this reduces choice, which usually reduces quality - from a purely selfish punter point-of-view, therefore, I'd rather see as much competition and choice as possible.
If it's accidental, or if it's done to increase choice, then it's fine - for example, I don't think it'd be a major problem if there's a weekender in Scotland and one in Somerset on at the same time.
So far I'm going to the Beach Ballroom and Kirriemuir in Feb, Blaze 3 in May and got my confirmation through today for Southport in June, woop woop!
It'll be the first time I've ventured across the border to dance, finally leaving my comfort zone of the Scottish dance community behind (although I know a fair few Scots are going too so there will be familiar faces around ) - very scary but exciting!
A friend of mine is trying to get hold of a ticket for Rock Bottoms in May and it appears to be fully booked already, even though the tickets only went on sale this week
Apparently a woman bought 60 on the day they came out and other people buy 10 at a time.
My friend has no idea who these people are and if they have any spare tickets to sell?
If anyone has any idea's, please PM me and i'll pass the info onto her!
And BTW, just in case anyone thinks its for me.. i'm off to Bonnie Scotland that weekend!

Seems we are plagued by internet touts.
It's the same when trying to get tickets for concerts - they are soon advertised a s "sold out", but in fact they are not.
The touts sell the tickets on at a profit.
If they misjudge demand, as in the case of "The Spice Girls" at the 02, then they take a loss.
15th to 17th Feb Hunter Valley, NSW for me, and then later in the year the Sunshine Coast weekender
Am saving myself and just doing the one this year - although disappointed to see the Bliss is so late in the year. Isn't it normally September? Looks like nice walks along the beach might beout and we'll be back to wading through the mud and puddles again
