Hmm...this sounds my kind of thing. Tango, WCS, Blues and maybe a bit of Reggae...ah takes me back. A long drive from Bournemouth though. Does anyone know if there is any parking at this venue are near by?

Brighton has really difficult parking on street... loads of yellow lines and even more wardens.

This venue is in Ship Street which runs north off of the sea front road but it is one way and you cannot drive into it from the seafront.

The next road east of Ship street off of the sea front road is Black Lion Street and this has a large multi story NCP.

I do not know how much it will cost to park there as I rarely get into Brighton these days.

    Under Par hope this helps

    Thanks for that Paul.

Multi Story no use for me that night. Driving a camper. Mandy is taking the car to London. Could be a long walk.

About £3.20 an hour when I used it a couple of weeks ago

There's free parking on Madeira Drive after 6, which is about 5 to 25 minutes walk away, depending on how far down you have to go to find a place.

Madeira Drive is quite a walk and that is IF you can find parking - it IS Friday evening !!

I hate going into town any night of the week, the police are very very hot on illegal parking, so be very careful (I know I work for a recovery company and it costs £105 to get your car out of the pound)

Best to fill the car up and split the costs of the car park - much safer - AND make sure the car park doesn't close for the night !!

(The car park cost me £11 last time I went into town)

Is it me? as judging by the poll the turnout for Hammersmith is not going to be as big as I expected... this is my first night there for months and I can't wait to catch up with everyone again.

I wouldn't take forum poll figures as being at all representative of anything except forum voters. I expect Hammersmith'll be packed to the gills, as always.

There are parking details on the location page of the website - Warren's also put links for taxis & all night buses in case you prefer to leave your car a bit further from the venue.
