i appreantly sound posh (not upper class) just ask pmjd i know i don't sound "ghetto"........im very far from sounding like that
I'd hear jamican, cockney, surf landan etc accents. I hate that big Cat its embarassing and the only good things about Catford are WHSmiths, tesco, mark one, superdrugs, banks etc.
Bromley is better than here.
Mods please eject Ghost and Crazy Girl into their own thread and let this one die
DS is upset because we runied his thread by not talking about him
Someone said to me "do you know Catford High Street", i replied "Catford doesn't have a high street ". Catford is just a rubbish place!!! Even the Catford Bridge train station was on the news a few months ago identifying the idiots that cross the rail tracks........morons!!!
I never knew that rhyme even exsitied lol.
--ooOoo--
Age is a question of mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter
Leroy (Satchel) Paige (1906-1982)
Mickey Mouse's girlfriend, Minnie, made her film debut, along with Mickey, in "Steamboat Willie" on November 18, 1928.
That date is recognized as her official birthday.
It's strange, most places have "something" that makes them worth going to. I can't think of anything in Catford though.....
You can't even rent games from the Blockbuster until you've rented 10 videos (apparently the locals keep nicking them )
Admittedly "on" would be more fun in this case
Moi?
Actually I've always liked it, but then I have a fondness for cats
Yay! I'm finally old enough to have "Back in the Day" refer to things I lived through
I think the last thing I saw there was Mulan, back in 1998. Nice comfy seats
Im not a cat person i prefer dogs. How about you living in Catford or have you before back in the day??
Bless
I think the last film i saw there was Plant of the Apes starring Mark Walhberg or was it LOTR 1st movie starring Orlando Bloom I had crap seats but i like the seats in Bromley cinema, Surrey Quays Odeon and Greenwich Odeon (formerly filmworks) they're much more comfy.
Fortunately dogs seem to like me
Hee, nope I was only ever "just passing through"
From the front of the Bromley cinema
"Children's shows - all tickets £1. Adults must be accompanied by children". I had to read it twice
I think i have a stalker
I'll look out for that tonight......crap if you know where im going tonight you might stalk me LOL
I think adult tix should be lower esp in odeons, its ok if you're student because the person pays a £1 less than adult
Thank you See Ghost i don't sound like surf landan
My grandparents lived in Catford and my dad was brought up there. Haven't been there for years as my grandparents have been dead for a while. Can't remember it being that exciting - just remember miles upon miles of terraced streets that all looked the same!
