Blaze III - Scotland, 9-12th may

I received today an email inviting me to book for Blaze III at a special discounted rate, but from the information that was sent, I couldn't figure out:

    - what discount I was actually entitled to (i.e. the underlying question is, is this worth the trouble of getting organised that early - yes even for me it's early )

    - who are the headline teachers ? (as this will be the critical factor to decide me to attend, i.e. too many weekenders / trips abroad planned to attend something that doesn't feature what I'm interested in)

TB, Franck - any idea or is this too early ?

PS: while I'm at it, I've addeed a poll to see who's going too, that will always come in handy at some point...

Re: Blaze III - Scotland, 9-12th may

I had a great time at Blaze II and really want to go dancing in Scotland again but with spiralling fuel costs, mortgage, etc I will not be able to do as many weekenders next year as I have managed this year so I am keen to know the same things as Caro plus an indication of whether the venue-enforced 2am finishes will again be in effect.

EDIT: I see Caro still hasn't quite got the grasp of posting a poll - can a friendly mod make it so multiple choices are disallowed to prevent a repeat of the hilarity ensuing from DS ticking every option - my sides can't take it

Yes, I noticed too, so edited the Poll options and reset the votes! So if you voted before the reset, you'll have to vote again.
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!

    Hi Caro,

I would have loved to be able to give you more details, but I'm unfortunately waiting for the headline teachers to confirm. I can promise you great teachers but can understand that you would like to know before re-booking.

The discount is £20.00 per person for the full party, so if you book a caravan before Christmas you save quite a bit of money and you can reserve your place for a £20.00 deposit.

As for the 2.00am finish, I'm in talks with the venue and the Licensing board so we can get a late night entertainment licence well in advance.

I will post all information as it becomes confirmed and keep you all posted.

Blaze has been getting better and better and I'm sure that next year's will be our best ever yet.
    Franck.

    There's an A.P.P. for that!
