Ceroc Greenwich Riverside Ball - 27 December 2007

I figured a poll similar to that used by ZW for Utopia Heaven and Hell might help people here as only 140 tickets are available and they are being sold as couples tickets (m/f) only - or at least that's how I read the info on their website. Not sure if that means the capacity is 140 or 280 though? I won't post the link in case it's construed as advertising but the Ceroc Greenwich website is easy to find via Google or whatever.

So, if you need a person to book with for this then tick the relevant poll option and/or PM people who have already ticked the option that would help you.

Remember to withdraw and recast your vote if you get sorted out so that people don't waste time PMing you in hope of 'coupling' with you

Ceroc Greenwich put on some damn good party nights (even if DJ Miseryguts aka Dan Hudson is in attendance ) so don't leave it too late or you might miss out!

I'm hoping to make it to one of the Ceroc Greenwich events in 2008, it's been way too long since I danced with Mr Hudson
On the 27th I'll be in Inverness, so can't do this one.

Am really disappointed. Had expected it to be another Slinky's, and Genie and I were going to go. So unless we can find two men to book with (Beo doesn't arrive till 28th) I guess that we won't be...

    The details are here:
    Ceroc Greenwich

Is this the same place they did the ball, a couple of years ago? The one with the cellar Blues Room?

I've had dinner downstairs at The Trafalgar.

It is right on the Thames and an old haunt of Charles Dickens. Very atmospheric.

Couldn't go upstairs to look at the ballroom as there was a wedding on at the time.

I think so, it was great last time. A lovely little venue with an amazing view. I'd love to go this time too, but with Ashtons B&W on Friday and Utopia Heaven and Hell on Saturday I think my divorce papers would be on their way if I did this too!

Hold on, I'm a man, I shouldn't have to book in advance, or find someone to go with - it's against the natural order of things...

Well, I have brazenly gone ahead and booked an "early bird" couple ticket - supremely confident that there will be man out there who will wish to "couple" with me.

Come on DJ - you know you want to.

No worries, Isis - he's all yours. I have found someone else to "couple" with who knows a good deal when he sees it.

Quite a few venues do it - Chiswick and Ashtons also have a cut-off time, I assume it's imposed by the venue as part of the licensing conditions or something?
