    That explains a lot *ducks*

A swizzle is something slightly different. It's all a bit odd.

This is purely because it gives you a connection through the body of course, not just the arms

just wait until next time we dance together and I'll semi-circle and arm-jive you for half the track, just to show you how well I've been listening to classes and mastered the moves...

Then it must have different names in different locations/brands.

That seems strange - Ceroc are quite keen on consistent move names and stuff... Hold on, is that a Ceroc name or a made-up name?

    Re: How do you start?

Well I am one of them down under ones,
Most beginner to low intermediate girls here will not expect anything but to start moving (nb not dancing) on the One beat of the phrase, and this can make some wow moves easier, however I will play in all sorts of ways as I am taking the girl up to the dance floor, I find my entry changes just about every dance that I do,,
Now those of you who love the arm jive will find yourselves in a definite minority down-under...., my favourite start usually involves starting apart and using heaps of characterisation as we dance in together...but this is only maybe once a night..with girls that know me

OK. Hmmm, I can't find it on the Jiveoholic site...

I'll have to kidnap Tessalicious and force her to reveal the Secret Move Called The French Something-Or-Other, it's the only way to be sure.

More a different franchise name yet a name used with many franchises.

All moves in Ceroc are named by headquarters, therefore, no specific franchise should have their own moves unless told they can by Ceroc, but all new moves are named by Ceroc using a naming system.

I should have said non-ceroc franchises!

    OK, so:
    - What franchise is it?
    - What's the equivalent Ceroc move name?

'Coz I'm getting hopelessly confused now...

In Ceroc it may well be called a Swizzle but I associate that name with a slightly different move. But I'm a bit odd though, lol.

As for the franchise, they are more local Northwest ones. In fact most of the venues in my sig use the name "French Girl".

You'd better start learning a second move then

Another fairly popular way of starting with women who can lead

    "So, who's leading then? "
or as one lady put it yesterday
"Well go on then, you're leading "

    Caro
Not sure what you mean... I walk out on the floor, hand in hand, extend my hand out and begin.

Happy to go down, but most girls down under like to just dance
