The had the bread and milk in North Yorkshire in a bowl.


I remember having a boil on my knee when I was 7, and having that poltice. Think there was a clove in it.


We always put a lot of salt on our porrige, but also evaporated milk( or the top off the milk if you were quick) and treacle poured on top.
