It's exactly a year today since I moved into my new flat.

I'm thankful to have a roof over my head and to see my lovely, cosy home slowly but surely taking shape.

I promise myself I'll have finished decorating and unpacking the boxes before the second aniversary.

I've just been posting on a Facebook thread about being thankful (in relation to a verse from the Bible).

Its so easy to complain about all the things we aren't happy about and forget about all the great things in our lives.

Today I am thankful for grace and forgiveness from God, for health, for family, for friends and for learning lessons from life.

Occasionally I've picked up on some great technique stuff, too, which have helped me to improve themendously. And met great peeps at plenty of events, and made new friends. Forget that I'm bitchy, I love you all really

I lost my partner to cancer earlier this year, i was looking through some old photo's and whilst the tears flowed from my eyes i'm greatfull for all the time we had together. Even when the Cancer was causing her to age before my eyes i would not have been without her.
