You must, you must... the boots are calling...
Save me and lead me away from temptation.
It's a serious case folks, I desire theese ski boots you see.
I soooo want them, I desire them, I know the specs of by heart. I can't think of anything else, even the YouTube dance link thread is failing to engage me.
Please help me - I must not spend £189 on ski boots.
You must, you must... the boots are calling...
You know what they say, the only way to get rid of a temptation is to give in to it.
Ignore RK and don't spend unless you can afford too
Temptation does get the best of me sometimes
Come to Australia! it's getting closer to summer here and you won't be needing those boots... only problem being that the flight would cost you many times more than the boots!(but it would stop you needing to buy the boots )
Just found the boots for sale in an E-bay shop (brand new) for £62 pounds , the seller has very good rep and over 1000 feedback scores. Looks the genuine product.
Now to rent boots for my hols is in around 40 pounds, so really I would only be spending an extra £22 + pp if I were to give into temptation and purchase them.
AND they would be mine, mine MINE!
Indeedy I could, there is an identical pair on gumtree for £75 pounds
Yup I never liked it either, and the padding is always the thickness of rice paper by the time they get pawned of on me in the rental shop. Honestly I am sure I am inplanted with some sort of device which tells these people that a mug just walked in, and they know they can fob me of with last years knackered equipment.
This seems like a perfect example of the stuff talked about on the compensatory leading thread... (almost) everyone's adapting in imaginative and entertaining ways to Connie's retail therapy preferences, rather than taking the subject too literally
BUY! BUY! BUY! BUY! BUY! (you know it makes sense)
When I bought my ski boots I saw it as more of an investment, plus it's a hell of a lot of money to go skiing, you don't want that ruined by having sore legs/feet all holiday do you?
BUY THEM!
(though I for one would try them on in a shop first as different makes suit different shaped feet. It's not always the prettiest ones that are best for you unfortunately You could always buy them on ebay once you know which ones are best )
OK. To be a bit more true to the topic:
Some reasons NOT to buy
Ski boots are bulky and a real pain to lug to and from your skiing holiday.
You have to store them for the rest of the year.
If you buy some they become outdated in no time at all.
How often are you truly likely to use them?
If you pay a little extra at the ski hire shop, you can get the latest gear for the current season, in top condition. In two years, that'll mean better gear than the boots you're currently looking at. Which is what I used to do.
On the other hand, my skiing knowledge is ten years old and hence somewhat outdated, so I may be talking rubbish.
