The Bromsgrove 't' dance should have been on which would have been fab for us all to loose some energy, but they've moved it to Saturday

If I hadn't got small children and could get there I would be looking for somewhere to dance .

I think you should go for it

    Re: Dancing on Xmas Eve?

I'd actually be more interested in going out on Christmas night than Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is for family and close friends, any time I have gone out I've made sure I'm back by midnight (I have gone out carol singing on Christmas Eve which was lovely). But I have gone out to parties on Christmas night - after a day with family, its nice to go out and spend time with friends who maybe don't have anyone to spend the day with.

I would go to a christmas eve dance, as sometimes christmas and new year can be quiet with things shutting down, just when you get a holiday.

They have a new years eve dance in Sydney now, which, you would have thought would be less well attended, due to so many things going on, on new years eve in the centre of Sydney... But it is packed, with singles and people without extended family close by.

I'd love to go to a New Year's Eve dance and if I could afford it, would be coming across to a dance (Scotland would be good!) - maybe next year!

Check out my list Caz - there are lots on - I'm going to the Bedford went there last year and it was fantastic and it is cheap compared with most (only £15) and the local Travelodge is only £19 per family room at the moment

    Re: Dancing on Xmas Eve?

BUM! Having agreed the Xmas eve event with the venue towards the latter half of last week, they told us last night that the caretakers aren't prepared to work that night (fair enough I suppose..)
So we can't do it.. So last event this year at Twickers York House is a 80's themed party night on Monday 17th Dec.
