THE ABILITY TO QUOTE IS A SERVICEABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR WIT!
What is snow?
Australia is a huge country, there is a bit of snow on High Mountains close to Canberra.
In the very South, Melbourne is rather like the south of England (brrrrr)
In the very North, Darwin is Tropical and near the equator (phew).
On the Gold Coast (yummy weather) - get out the swimming cossies and put the air conditioning on.
As a guide it takes 6 hours to fly from Sydney (on the East coast) to Perth (on the West coast)... and several days by car . [equivalent of you travelling to Turkey or Morocco]

Im going australia for the shark dives I'll return back alive!!!!
South of England is mostly cold.......its sometimes hard to tell what season it is
Although London and further south does sometimes get the best summers esp if there are heat waves
Maybe not in Bangor - but I've seen snow here this early before, though usually its Dec. What I hate is the fact that travel just stops completely. Sitting for an hour and getting about 1.5 miles is not my idea of a fun morning.
Had to de-ice the car today before work - first morning for that.
We have crazy sharks swimming around here, so one more I guess would be ok
I used to live in Brighton, so I am familiar with the Weather. Brighton weather being like Melbourne weather , although Melbourne temps in the summer sometimes hotter than a "heatwave Brighton"
Enough about Melbourne - The Gold Coast rocks
