Re: Is Autumn the weekender season?

    Just spotted this:

    Storm: Camber: 07-10 MAR 2008
    Chill: TBA
    Champs: London: 04 MAY 2008
    Blaze: Scotland: 09-12 May 2008
    Breeze: Summerset: 10-13 OCT 2008
Bliss: Camber Sand: 07-10 NOV 2008
    Splash: Blackpool 14-17 NOV 2008
Medfest: Portuguese Algarve: 12-19 NOV 2007
    Swish: Norfolk 15-18 FEB 2008

I see that Bliss has been bumped up the calendar from end of September to early November. Still a lot close together though. And does this mean there will only be one Scottish weekender next year in May?

Also, Ceroc HQ need to invest in a spellchecker - Summerset

There are still 2 names not yet accounted for though, from the Ceroc posters / DVD backgrounds (Blush and Scorch), so that isn't necessarily the entire list.

I thought they'd refer to what were previously the JiveTime weekenders but as they seem to have already taken over the November JiveTime with Bliss, who knows.

It may be however, someone just likes inventing these names / drawing pretty pictures for them.

Yes, but there will also be 3 Focus residential weekends, 3 Beach Ballroom (non residential) weekends and at least one Stirling (non residential) weekend.

Is money the name of the game with Weekenders and muscling out existing successful promotors ie Jive Time who had this same weekend for many years, is this a case of C... again trying to buy domination of MJ or what is your view?
