Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter
Hmmmm, I'll give two answers:
Winter (proper winter with snow and -20C!!) and summer in Norway. Norwegian summers are wonderful, and you can actually swim in the sea without dying from hypothermia!
Spring and autumn in Scotland (spring comes much earlier, and autumn later, and they're not as cold as in Norway). Not a fan of summer and winter in Scotland, as it seems like the weather over here forgets it's supposed to be 4 seasons, and don't quite manage to do the 'summer' and 'winter' parts properly, so it's like having a loooooooooooong spring, a brief glimpse of summer, then straight into a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong autumn, and maybe a couple of days of real winter. Huh!
I think I like summer best 'cos I love the long days! I lived in Orkney for a couple of years and the summer days were never-ending. Fab!
The winter days were so short and over in a blink and I was not so keen on that. Also - I get 7 weeks holiday in the summer which is another major factor!! Winter is not all bad because my birthday is on Dec 25th. I have arranged it that most folk get the day off so they can help me celebrate and I have noticed, over the years, that most folk do!!Much appreciated.
Spring - I love daffodils
Autumn - kicking up the leaves.
Think i like the summer the best. I always seem to be more active outside, having barbeques, day trips to parks, camping, drive to beaches and play sports on the grass. This means you can catch up with the friends who hibernate. I like wearing nice summer dresses too, letting sun soak into skin gives a warming and radiant feeling. Going out to night clubs, you don't have to take a jacket saving cloakroom money and you can walk home instead of jumping in a taxi at first sight of rain. Its warmer rain, and enjoyable to sober up. Ice lollies at work, and looking out the window first thing in the morning to sunshine brightens up the whole atmosphere of a town. Never bored on a sunny day.
The Football Season
Definately the summer - I hate the winter - dark mornings, dark evenings, spending all the time inside coz it is so damn cold! Roll on the summer - long evenings, hot days BBQ's and lazt days in the sun
Late Spring/early summer. There is some warmth and long days after the cold, dark winter. the countryside is full of life and all the greens look fresh. Dont like mid-summer that much as i am not a fan of hot weather. Late summer/early autumn (late august/early to mid september) also has its moments
Winter:
When the mountains are covered in a foot or more of frozen snow, there's nothing more exhilarating than traversing a couple of Munros with crampons on your boots and ice axe in hand. As there's no heat haze, the winter sun gives far better views than spring or summer sun.
I was out yesterday on Beinn Chabhair and I'm looking forward to two or three more on Saturday; the Rutherglen Ceroc party night has been cancelled so I don't need to hurry to get back to Glasgow!

Gotta be summer. Gotta love the weather (Well, when there is nice weather anyways ) xx
Autumn - for the colour and rainy days without the biting cold of winter. I love walking in torrential rain if it's not too windy and I'm wrapped up warm (need to be alone or hand in hand with my husband though...children just don't appreciate the romance of rain!).
I love it when the petals fall off the blossom trees too...
feeling very whimsical now...wish there were no dishes to do!
