I swear by Courtin Ice Gel, which is an alternative to the "Step Lively" stuff drathzel recommended. It really refreshes your feet and you get a lovely "tingling" sensation into the bargain (so, best to wash your hands immediately after application - I think). There's always a bottle of ice gel, along with various sizes of compeed and a tube of ibuprofen gel in my dance bag.

I don't think they do. Its not like clothes shops where they have to shift one season's stock to make way for the next. There isn't really a need for dance shops to have seasonal sales. But you could ask some nice person to get you a pair/contribute towards a pair for a Christmas present.

    Re: Blasted Shoes again......

When I was getting the knots massaged out of my muscles on Monday I commented about hardly being able to walk because my feet were sore after BlazeII,

I was told I had a few bit of hard skin that are the equivalent of a small pebble when you are dancing on top of them.
I was recommended to soak my feet for 20 minutes and use a pumice stone to remove the hard skin.

This I did on the right foot only before Tuesday Ceroc class - my right foot was fine but the left foot was still sore!
I intend to continue just doing one foot for a while to see if it does make a difference.
